Everybody asks, so I may as well explain that “Proulx” is pronounced “Prue”. It rhymes with “true”.
I’ve been a devoted student of the scriptures since I joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 1972, but because I’m more than a little scatterbrained I kept lists of scriptures pertaining to various topics. The objective was to compile everything the scriptures say on each topic.
Fifty years later the lists had become a mountain of data consisting of over 15,000 passages. I needed to put it to practical use, so in 2022 I published my first book: A Sure Foundation: God, Man, and Salvation. After each chapter, I presented comprehensive scripture lists pertaining to that chapter.

A Sure Foundation implements a concept called “comprehensive context”. Under the "Home" tab at the top of this page, scroll down to "The value of Comprehensive Context" to learn more about it.
Under the “Videos” tab you'll find a series of videos. Each video explores a gospel topic in light of all scripture. At the end of each video I refer you to pertinent scripture lists, which you'll find under the "Scripture Lists" tab.
